Latest planning information

In September 2017 Rainbow and Wacky were told that the previously expected renewal of temporary planning consent would be limited to three years with no likelihood of further renewals. The Chairs of Rainbow and Wacky have been working with District Councillors, Heidi Allen MP, the school and board of governors as well as the parish council to understand the options for moving forward. As part of this activity presentations were made to the Great Shelford and Little Shelford village meetings in April 2018. Text of the presentation is attached for information.

While it is obviously disappointing that we were not able to achieve the expected outcome, and it is likely that we will need to fundraise for a permanent structure, the Rainbow and Wacky chairs and committees are positive about the support being received from the local communities and politicians, and are hopeful that a solution will be achievable. Please contact chair@wackyclub.co.uk if you have ideas, would like to help in any way or have further questions.
