Booking Procedure for the Wacky After-School Club

 

This procedure should be read in conjunction with the Admissions Policy which refers to the criteria used for admitting new families to the Wacky Club.

 

Places in the Wacky After School Club are allocated each term using a system of two different types of forms:

 

 

Application forms for places and re-booking forms will be issued several weeks before the end of the preceding term.

 

The procedure for allocating places is as follows:

 

1. Existing users wishing to rebook

 

Existing users of the Wacky Club After School club will be allowed to re-book the same sessions as the current term for the following term.  These re-bookings will be made using the re-booking form and given the highest priority.  A re-booking form should be completed for each child for whom sessions are requested.

 

2. Other requests for bookings

 

To request sessions that are not a  re-booking of current sessions, the booking application form should be completed requesting the sessions. A booking application form should be completed for each child.

 

Every attempt will be made to satisfy all booking requests but where there is more demand than available places, sessions will be allocated in the following priority order:

 

 

If it is not possible to offer sessions for a child for the following term, there will be an opportunity to go on to a waiting list.. If sessions become available during the term, families with children on the waiting list will be contacted to see if they would like to take up the spaces.
